The initial session will be used to explore what has brought you to hypnotherapy and establish what your goals and desired outcomes are. This will be done by asking questions about the issue, some background information, some questions about your health and lifestyle. What we discuss will then be used to formulate future sessions. It may not always be possible to do trance in the first session.
Depnding on what brings you to Soul So Strong, 1-6 sessions may be all you need.
Hypnotherapy is intended to be a brief therapy, however if you have some complex issues to overcome this may take more sessions. The initial session will allow us to establish timeframes on your goals, so we will likely have an idea of this from the start. We will always review progress also.
Sessions will be tailored appropriately to your goals and desired outcomes and may involve NLP techniques and EFT as well as hynosis. All techniques/modalities used will be explained in depth prior to using them to ensure you understand and are comfortable with the process.
As stated on previous pages, the success of Hypnotherapy (and any modality used) is based on your desire to achieve your desired outcomes and make change. You have to be an active participant in therapy.
To ensure you get the best out of this, I may provide "homework tasks" suitable to your desired outcomes which will help aid the progress of you achieving your desired outcomes. I will also teach you self hypnosis and provided recordings for you to listen to in between sessions (where appropriate).
I encourage all clients to ask any questions that they feel they have, as they arise, for that reason I will also check in on your understanding, ensure you are comfortable and happy before we proceed at every session.
